Both worked as psychiatrists and founded the \u2018Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis\u2019 in 1956 to develop a form or body-oriented psychotherapy. In 1974 John Pierrakos developed the \u2018Institute of Core Energetics\u2019 from this approach. Eva Pierrakos\u2019 spiritual view of humanity and her method of \u2018Pathwork\u2019 led to the further development of the approach that is now widespread worldwide as \u2018Core Energetics\u2019.
